Who is responsible for delivery and setup of the castle?
We deliver, set up and dismantle our castles free of charge as part of our complete service to
you.

How long do you need to set up and take-down a castle?
Approximately 20 minutes, depending on the unit booked and access to the location.

  When are your castles available?
Our castles are available for hire seven days a week, all year round including public holidays.

  When do you deliver?
We deliver from 7.30am and during busy summer periods we deliver on a geographical round basis. However, we try to be flexible as possible so please ask at the time of booking if you need a specific time slot. We do of course give precise times if the hire is booked for an indoor venue, such as in community centres, halls or if the hire is for a school fete or fund-raising event.

Can I hire a castle overnight?
All our castles can be hired overnight for an additional price. A damage/cleaning deposit which will be refunded providing that the inflatable and equipment is in a satisfactory condition upon collection. This only applies to secure gardens, and you must accept full responsibility for the inflatable and equipment.

How late can I leave it to book?
During the summer months we are very busy, particularly at weekends and public holidays, so you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. However, we will accept bookings as late as the same day, so it’s always worth a phone call if you do make a last minute decision.

How and when do I make payment?
Although we do not require a deposit, a cash payment is required on delivery and set up of the castle.

  Are your castles clean?
Yes, they are vacuumed and cleaned with an antibacterial solution after every hire.

How much room do we need to erect a castle?
The minimum space required to allow for the inflation tube and air blower at the back together can be found by clicking on more info on each individual castle or inflatable picture on our castles page here.  Any overhanging trees and prickly bushes need to be pruned back.

Does the castle have to be set up on grass only?
No. Although it is preferable to anchor the castle into a grass lawn, castles can be set up on concrete surfaces. Castles can not be set up on stony or rocky surfaces.  We do need to be informed if the jumping castle is to be erected on a surface that does not allow for pegs to be used (eg: asphalt, paving).

  Are there any special requirements?
Castles cannot be set up near power lines, over hanging trees or sharp objects. An electrical power socket must be supplied to power the electric inflating blower that must run at all times.

  Do you supply safety instructions?
Yes, we provide detailed safety instructions with every hire.

What if there are steps to get to the set area?
If there are steps you will need to notify us when making the booking as the castles may weigh between 100kg and 200kg and it is difficult to push up and down steps. If there are 0-5 steps there needs to be someone on site that can help the driver with the jumping castle.  If there are more steps this needs to be discussed when making the booking.

Does someone need to supervise the operation of the jumping castle?
Yes. For the safety of the children who will use the jumping castle, A responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise the jumping castle at all times. There will be training given in the operating instructions for the jumping castle on the day of the hire.

What safety features do your castles offer?
Unlike many other castles on the market that have open front or sides, Disney castles offer full safety meshing which makes it almost impossible for your child to fall out. They also have a correctly designed entrance way to ensure a safe entry or exit. Firm anchoring eliminates the risk of a castle tipping over. The castles have been carefully constructed to meet and exceed the criteria set by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).

  What about insurance?
We carry a 10 million dollar Public liability Insurance. Public liability insurance which cover accidents which were our fault, such as equipment failure or failing to install a unit properly. You are responsible for the supervision. Please let us know if you require a copy of our certificate of currency.

What if I want to hire a castle in public area?
When hiring a castle in a public place, it must be supervised by one of our staff at an hourly rate. (Min 4 hours) It is a condition of Public Liability. Generators are available should there be no power supply.

What is the maximum number of children allowed on the castle at one time?
We recommend a maximum of 8-10 children on the medium jump style jumping castles and a maximum of 10-12 children on the club and combo style jumping castles.

What happens when it's windy or rains?
As our castles are anchored firmly they can operate on a breezy day, however if the winds are too strong we may be forced to cancel your hire (although this only happens on rare occasions). All of our castles come with a permanent cover to protect the user from both sun and rain. In the event of strong winds or rain, we reserve the right to cancel the booking if we feel safety will be compromised. We also warn that rain can still enter the castle if blown in by the wind and this may make the jumping surface slippery. If this happens, we suggest an indoor game until the rain shower passes, then once the rain passes hand each child a towel and they can have fun drying off the castle surface ( the kids usually find this part of the fun!) before continuing jumping.
